Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, also known as Superstar Krishna or Nata Sekharudu, was a prolific actor, producer, director as well as a politician. Superstar Krishna was better known for his roles in over 350 films mostly in Telugu cinema.
Superstar Krishna played roles in films such as Koduku Diddina Kapuram, Agni Pariksha, Pandanti Kapuram, Devudu Chesina Manushulu, Alluri Seetharama Raju, Anna Dammula Sawaal, and Kumara Raja, among others. Krishna also produced films like Kurukshethram.
Superstar Krishna was honoured by the Indian government and also received a Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South. Krishna also received an Honorary Doctorate from Andhra University in the year 2008.
Superstar Krishna passed away on 15 November 2022 at age 79 due to a cardiac arrest in Hyderabad, Telangana in India.
